1 I'm back from a visit to your current state, but haven't worked up the energy to make a posting about it yet. But it will be coming today or tomorrow. Either NC or SoCal, it's chilly out for May. I also have a strange desire to bake holiday spritz cookies. I think it is the vanilla content of those that I'm craving now. Or maybe I could do what my friend Josh in high school did once: Get drunk off of vanilla extract....

2 Drove by a Conroy's Flowers shop today offering discounted "Bokays." Remind me why you want to move back to this God-forsaken state?

3 Don't diss the Bokay, mm-kay, It's traditional. At first I thought it was the quality of their staff, not graduating middle school. But then I realized, it was a marketing gimmick. After all, we all know that "Bokays" only come from Conroy's. Any flower shop can sell a bouquet, but for a true California (are there Conroy's outside of CA?) Bokay, Conroy's it must be. mm-kay I implore you not to reconsider your eventual move back to California. And hopefully you say "bokay" to that, and return to the land of stolen water, imported people and plastic smiles --......Yeah, that was just a little too flowery to be really coherent, and yet, I didn't feel like deleting it.

4 They spell it that way here too, ya' know.... Let's not list the reasons NOT to go back. There are a hell of a lot of them....
