On a related note, why do we always say "F*cking-A"?? Isn't F*ck WAY higher up than a$s on the scale of naughty words? Shouldn't it be "F'ing A$s"???

I've always pronounced it F*ck an eh, no reason in particular, just sounds better to me than the way you have it. I'm probably wrong on it, wouldn't be the first time I messed up a phrase like that.

I ever thought the A was short for anything.
But based on context, it makes the most sense to be short for "awesome"

I've often wondered what the A was for too...but I also say this a lot!
My friend always says "F*ck Around" like "Your kidding me". Maybe that? I dunno.
