Ok, folks here goes. Y'all know me so this should be a piece of cake, right? To make it even easier, these aren't necessarily my MOST FAVORITE, but ones I love to watch again and again, and especially I can fall asleep to them. In no particular order (that would be too easy!):
2. Christmas/ Concert Scene/ Choreographer/ Choreography/ Dancer
(this is SO EASY)
4. Moon/ Messiah/ Wilhelm Scream / Wuxia Fiction/ Alien Civilization
(yeah, WTF????)
5. Ex Nazi / Air Base / British / Eccentric / Doomsday Machine
6. Fortune / Dysfunctional Family / Quirky / Friendship / Party
(suckers... that's a hint BTW)
7. Dirty Cop / Dock / Criminal Mastermind / Burn Victim / Manipulation
8. Catholic Church / Catholic / Roman Catholic / Blues Music / Country Music
9. Female Killer / Honeymoon / Police / San Francisco California / Serial Killer
10. Multiple Murder / Sidekick / Blind / Sam Spade / Hercule Poirot
11. Severed Arm / British Film / Corporeal Mortification / Severed Leg / British
12. Hungry / Fantasy Life / Hardship / Stylized / Enchantment
Play along in the comments, and answers will be posted tomorrow.
Mostly because I want to know what your favorite movies are.
1
Number 5 is Doctor Strangelove. It's way too early in the morning for me to figure out any of the others.

Wild guesses, I'm actually terrible at these.
1. "To Be or Not to Be"?
9. One of the Dirty Harry movies?
10. "Murder by Death"?

I want to say #8 is Sister Act. The others I might know have been guessed above. It's way too early in the day for me to figure this out. *grin*

1 - History of the World Part 1?
3 - Badminton? Huh. Robinhood. Frank got it right away when I said, "What's a Disney movie with Badminton in it?" "Robinhood." Yeah, when he said it, I remembered it easily, but that did NOT pop into my head.
4 - Uh. Star Wars? Do I get credit for knowing what a Wilhelm scream is?
9 - Sudden Impact. I had to ask Frank which Dirty Harry movie has a female killer. So if I'm right, he gets half credit.
12 - Ever After?
8 - Blues Brothers?
Note that most of these are followed by question marks.

#5 is Dr. Strangelove, and #1 is Springtime for Hitler. It's worrisome that I only get the ones with Nazi references.

#1 is the Producers, says Frank.

#1 is the Producers, says Frank.
Gaah! That's what I was thinking of. I don't know why the title-within-a-title came to mind instead.

#1 possibly 'Top Secret'?

I'm going to throw votes for #7: Usual Suspects and #9: So I married an axe murderer.

for #4 I was going to start off with Dune, but I think I'm going with Star Wars: #1/#4/New Hope.
#11: Boxing Helena?
#12: Pursuit of Happyness?
#6: Wedding Crashers?
#9 is on my list so I'm silent on this one.

sarahk is correct on 4, KenS named 11, and ZTZCheese got 7 and 9.
That leaves just 1,6, and 12. Which I must admit were guessed already by someone in a private email. But that's ok. Y'all can still play.
I'm honestly surprised hardly anyone has even GUESSED at 12....

sarahK is correct. #12 is in fact LOTR: FOTR.
I'll end the suspense for y'all.
#1 is Blazing Saddles. I told you the keywords didn't make any sense. Kudos to those of you who guessed ANY Mel Brooks movie.
#6 is Auntie Mame. Re: the hint, the most famous quote from the movie is when Rosalind Russell, as Mame says:"Live! Life's a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death!"

All I can say is that I think we have nothing in common, except for The Blues Brothers.

I can do #2 on Thomas Warlock easily. Star Wars.
