Not a bad movie, just a bad quote....
For those of you who don't know, Real Genius is about 2 physics prodigies who attend a college called "Pacific Tech" in Southern California, which (strangely enough) looks like Caltech and has much of the feel of Caltech, and their plot to get revenge on a double-dealing smarmy professor who is building something dangerous....

trhe country selection was CRAP!!! and not be cause it wasn't Scottish wheres the Johnny Cash? Nitty Gritty Dirt Band? Alabama? Charlie Daniles Band? Dwight Yoakam? Hank Williams? and the list goes on.

I found that there were WAY more hip hop/rap/R&B acts than anything else, and that there were just not good lists for the other genres....

Monday Monday
Ok, so it's Monday. Which sucks. I hate Monday mornings because of lab meeting at 9. Which means I have to be here BEFORE 9. (I usually come in 9-9:30). Ahh the advantages pf Academia.
Really, I think that's the only reason I didn't go for something else. Where else can you come in at 10 and go home at 6? Fits my sleep schedule SOOOO much better.
Anyway, the point of this post was to let you know that I have great plans for this week:
a roundup of British political news, focusing on the upcoming election
a link fest
pictures from my trip to Savannah (there aren't many, but I will put up a few)
a recipe for the CotR
Maybe some pictures of the Azaleas in my back yard...

There's always a stubborn one in random selections. In this case, after many many refreshes, I put the direct URL to each graphic in turn in the address bar and actually got to the the #3 one.

Jay - I've been looking at options other than MT for the past 6 months, and none of them have measured up so far. Lots of things good for one blog, or two or three, but they all fail miserably with 150.
I'm currently investigating Drupal, we'll see how that goes.
